ITSYS Success Stories
Major International Telecom Company
ITSYS DBA provided technical guidance and
leadership, which was instrumental in the successful restore of a corrupted
mission critical 3 TB database.
This intervention was done under much pressure over a single weekend leading to no system downtime.

Yes, the method you describe also installs the J2EE and adds it to the infrastruction. I will insure that we add that to the errata.

First of all, I would like to thank you for the
quality of your published book "OracleAS Administration Handbook",
this book provides all you need to start working with Oracle10g and contains a lot of valuable advices.
The note section in page 105 said: "if you
choose the J2EE and Web Cache Installation, the new instance will not be added
to an infrastructure".
I selected this type of installation J2EE and Web Cache, checked Identity management and OracleAS cluster managed, and my new instance was
added to the infrastructure. Even when we install the J2EE and Web Cache middle tier, OUI will configure the new instance as part of an infrastructure.
Could you please check if this correct?
